Rowan Helping Ministries – A county-wide ecumenical agency which meets the needs of various citizens by putting God’s love in action. They need volunteers in many areas of ministry. Calvary has often committed to offer assistance in the form of food and monetary donations.

Meals on Wheels – Members of Calvary have been volunteering with Meals on Wheels for over 25 years. We are the “Church that Feeds the People. Mind Body and Soul”.

The Clothing Closet – The Closet ministry of Calvary provides clothing, shoes, household goods, toys and children’s books at no charge for those in the community who may need them. Shopping days are on a scheduled Saturday in April and October. Specific dates are widely published in the town newsletter and with yellow road signs posted one week ahead of the event. Immediate/emergent services, like a house fire, are offered at any time on a family by family basis by calling the program chairperson, Marylyn Koontz at 704-957-0080.
